Practice Used Puck

2002-03 Carolina Hurricanes 

       I received this puck during a morning skate at the LA Kings practice facility before a 2002-03 Ducks vs Hurricanes game.  I watched Irbe practice and he deflected this puck over the glass and out of play.  I was going to go around the boards to where it lay but it was chained off, "employees only".  I asked a worker if he'd go around and get the puck and he came back with it.  I asked if there was any more pucks over there? He said no and handed it to me.  I got to meet Irbe after practice and he signed my Hurricanes team issued postcard which can be seen with my TTM autos.  I wish Irbe could have played that night but I did get to see him in pre-game warm ups.
